Dr. Romanelli Launches New Web Site
Dr. James Romanelli is proud to announce the launch of his newly re-designed breast enhancement web site, LongIslandBreast.com. Since breast enhancement procedures such as breast augmentation or breast lift on Long Island are among the most popular of cosmetic procedures, Dr. Romanelli has dedicated an entire site to meeting the needs of his breast enhancement patients. Not only is the new site beautiful, but it is also highly functional, with many user-friendly features.
The site provides a wealth of information about the variety of breast surgeries Dr. Romanelli performs, as well as descriptions of the type of breast implants Long Island patients have available to them. You can view before and after patient photos in the extensive photo gallery, as well as read the stories of real patients who have undergone breast procedures with Dr. Romanelli. There is even a video player which offers you the opportunity to watch informative breast surgery videos featuring Dr. Romanelli.

New Laser Offers Relief from Skin Concerns
Romanelli Cosmetic Surgery is now offering Active FX™ and Deep FX™ fractionated CO2 laser treatments using Ultrapulse Laser by Lumenis®. This state-of-the-art laser delivers customized fractional CO2 laser treatments that effectively treat fine lines, deep wrinkles, pigmentation problems, and acne scars with very little downtime. This new laser is one of many skin care services offered at our Long Island plastic surgery center for facial rejuvenation.
The unique appeal of fractionated lasers is the fact that only a fraction of the skin's surface is treated, while surrounding skin is left intact to aid in the healing process. With the Ultrapulse, the amount of treated versus untreated skin can be adjusted to tailor treatments to the individual patient's needs, including the degree of skin damage and the amount of downtime the patient is willing to undergo. The depth of penetration also can be adjusted depending on the skin concerns being treated, as well as the patient's tolerance level.
In studies, dramatic results were measured in most patients after just one treatment for wrinkles, pigmentation irregularities, and scarring. The stimulation of collagen that results from laser treatments also improves general skin tone gradually over time. Most patients can expect a healing time of 2 to 5 days after their Ultrapulse laser treatment.
If you would like to learn more about this or any of our other skin care services, request a free appointment with Dr. Romanelli, and he will help you to decide which facial rejuvenation procedures are right for you.
